Mont Blanc

This Morning I attended a breakfast at the Mont Blanc stand in Dubai Mall. The breakfast had on show the latest collection from Mont Blanc including luxury bags, signature pens, cufflinks, watches and their wonderfully made wallets.

For the wallets, one of their very own craftsman flew in from Italy to explain the care, thought process and technique that goes into making one of these masterpieces.

Here is the man in action explaining to us all the effort and commitment it takes to individually make each product by hand. From special materials and leathers, and how many single items it takes to create the wallet.

Here is the stand set up for the event showcases all new products.

They were also kind enough to gift me with one of the signature wallets

Movember for Esquire

So as Movember is gradually coming to an end I hope all you men out there have been growing the old caterpillar.

Movember is all fun and a laugh for those that do not regularly sport the Tash, but it does have a serious meaning behind it. Movember is done to raise awareness for prostate cancer in men, in fact raise awareness in mens health in general. Us guys in particular are prone to be quiet when it comes to health, and either we won't go to the doctors to get regular checks or if we do we won't talk about it with anyone.

Well bro's grow your mo and spread the word, and help raise money for this serious matter.

Here is a shoot I done which was released in the most recent copy of Esquire Middle East. Hope you like it.

When the shoot was done, I had a black eye which was removed for the magazine, here is the original photos.

A showcase of the photos were previewed at an event held by @Theqode at Iris Dubai in Oberio hotel.

GQ for Gap 2014 Collection!

Ok so recently I got invited to come see the new 2014 Collaboration GQ have done with Gap in the Gap store in Dubai Mall, and as you are about to see the collection is stunning.

Sticking to its signature style of black-on-black street fashion, En Noir delivers a leather hoodie, a coated shirt, structured sweatpants, and a murdered-out 3-1 hooded jacket. Brooklyn Tailors drops the classics with a line ranging from smart suits and oxford shirts to a bonded raincoat and selvedge chinos. M.Nii adds a dose of beach-friendly Americana with threads like twill trousers, flannel shirts, striped pullovers, and a standout shearling corduroy jacket. John Elliott rounds out the offerings with a sharp line of basics that includes a hoodie, crew neck sweatshirt, baseball jacket and a pair of selvedge denim jeans.

"I go down the rabbit hole of fabric selection for my own line, and I took that same approach with my Gap stuff. Like the sweatpants: They're a signature for me, inspired by a late-1980s Colombian soccer pant that is really slim from ankle to knee. So the Gap version's fit is basically identical to mine. It's made from a thick French terry cloth that's really similar to what I use. And Gap even sourced high-end zippers."—John Elliott

Here is myself alongside the other Dubai based male bloggers including my close mates Paul Ramos and Mika Ashraf.

GQ for Gap collection is now in stores. The materials and style are like no other things Gap has produced and you certainly get what you pay for. Go and enjoy!

Ted Baker!

Ted Baker has just launched their new menswear Global collection in Dubai Mall and I wanted to share with you some images (high res in link below) of the 4 printed blazers which sit in this luxury collection. The blazers are a limited edition and exclusive to the Dubai Mall within the Middle East.
The Global collection is where classic English tailoring meets eccentric contemporary dressing. Using the finest Italian fabrics including mohair, wool and silk, Global is full of refined detailing and rich, beautiful textures.

All 4 blazers are priced at AED 6,285 so targeting the luxury high-end market.

Ted Baker, as I always say is my favourite brand. So if you got the money to spend every purchase is worth every penny (or fill I should say)

As the old expression says, "You pay for what you get" and with Ted Baker that's exactly what you get. The materials they use plus all the little details, just screams elegance, and for me I can spot a Ted from a mile away when someone is wearing the brand.

Go check out the new collection, you won't be disappointed!

So here it is guys, the all new Iconic collection.

‘THE ICON’ collection at ICONIC is a capsule collection of key pieces that would very easily translate from catwalk to wardrobe. The range was unveiled at the last edition of Fashion Forward (FFWD).

Inspired by the idea of being in love and expressing yourself as someone who defines beauty and loves to be the center of attention, ‘THE ICON’ is inspired by the latest catwalk trends from the Autumn Winter collections across the world and is a blend of the best styles for the season.

For men the focus is on interesting separates created to add flamboyance and panache to their look. Expect to see velvet tuxedos, embellished sweatshirts, bomber jackets, joggers and duffle trench coats in an array of fabrics ranging from textured leather, neoprene, boiled wool and quilted fabrics. Digital sculpture prints with subtle embellishments will also be seen in some key pieces.

The price range for the majority of the pieces is AED 250-600 and the exclusive pieces range from AED 650-950. The collection is now available in select ICONIC stores.
