2015 Chevrolet Silverado

As you can see the car I got to drive this week is an absolute BEAST and so fun to drive.
The all new 2015 Chevrolet Silverado is a thing of pure beauty, not only does it pack a punch but it is also amazingly comfortable. The sheer size of the vehicle makes you feel like you own any road you join and also makes you feel like you receive some sort of respect from others drivers.

It's definitely the biggest vehicle I have driven and also probably one of the most comfortable. This is only the second Chevrolet that I have driven, the first being a Chevrolet Blazer which I owned in America in 2006, this Silverado has just rejuvenated my love for the brand.

Below is the vehicle in more detail from Chevrolet for all your motor heats out there:

Chevrolet Silverado Light Duty: New for 2015
  • Eight-speed automatic transmission for the 6.2L V-8 (late availability)
  • New exterior color: Deep Ocean Blue Metallic

2015 Silverado Light Duty: Stronger, Smarter and More Capable

  • Updated trailer ratings showcase Silverado’s strength and capability
  • Available 6.2L EcoTec3 V-8 leads segment in horsepower and torque
  • A new eight-speed automatic transmission will be standard on models equipped with the 6.2L EcoTec3 V-8

The 2015 Silverado Light Duty is engineered to be stronger, smarter and more capable than ever before.

It features a trio of new EcoTec3 engines – a V-6 and two V-8s, a quieter and more comfortable cab, a refined interior with connectivityimproved ride and handling and ingenious solutions for managing cargo in the bed.

The 2015 Silverado Light Duty will continue to offer trailer weight ratings up to 5,443 kg as it transitions to new ratings based on US’s SAE J2807 Recommended Practices.

The 2015 Silverado Light Duty pickups are available in seven distinct trim levels, from a Work Truck (WT) to the premium level, High Country.

Interior

Interiors tailored to truck customers
The interiors of the 2015 Silverado LD reflect the same focus on form and function. The upright instrument panel, six-gauge instrument cluster and multiple storage options are tailored specifically to the needs of truck customers. Controls are functional, logically placed and easy to operate with work gloves on. Rear doors on crew cabs are larger, for easier entry and exit, and rear doors on double cab models are now hinged at the front for easier access, especially in tight spots.

For those of you that prefer to drive big cars as perhaps it makes you feel safer on the roads, this is definitely the one for you. There will not be many other vehicles you face that will be sat higher than you, and plus with the amazing space and easiness to drive you will not want to drive another model.

Also, Chevrolet's latest offer, which runs until October 31, gives UAE customers looking to buy a 2015 Silverado the opportunity to get a complimentary trim upgrade- which means extra safety, comfort and entertainment features.

Adagio Aparthotel Dubai

Dubai is known for it's luxury lifestyle and what you will learn quick about this fast paced city is that you will need some good rest.
Adagio Aparthotel located in Al Barsha is definitely a place designed with thought and comfort to let you kick your feet up and relax. All dotted around the apartment are unique pictures of Dubai keeping you aware of what beautiful city you are in and I really liked that about this place, the staff were also very friendly and catered to any need that I had.

The apartment came with one master bedroom and another well sized bedroom with two single beds as you can see below:

The overall space of the apartment was very good, it came with one master bedroom one spare bedroom, a kitchen, 3 bathrooms and large living room dining area.

I headed down to the gym and got a great workout in, with many machines to use and a large surface area. The pool was just outside the gym and although it only gets the Sun for a certain period in the day it was still very nice and relaxing.

As you can see from the picture above, the place is in a really good location, being a 2 minute drive from Burj al Arab and also a few minutes from Mall of the Emirates.

All in all I was very pleased with Adagio and would recommend it to anyone looking for a home away from home.

ARABISKA Restaurant & Cafe

Arabiska Restaurant & Cafe was happy to host a table of bloggers for an amazing meal, and us bloggers were very happy in return.

I have not experienced food delivered in such amazing presentation in a long time. Along with the presentation the food also tasted exquisite.

I ordered the Shish Tawook chicken and it came out sizzling on this delightful BBQ. Before this arrived I had also been feasting on some delicious beef and cheese spring rolls.

The salmon on the right of the pic above and pic below seemed to be a bloggers favourite as 3 of the 5 of us had ordered it.

Here is blogger Paul Ramos from @thestylechoreo shot taken by Moe from @wetrentdstyle

The staff were very friendly, and the menu was very broad even a fussy eater like me had a lot to choose from. Arabiska's entrance and inside decor was also very cool and trendy, giving off a very good first impression.
All in all I was very pleased with the overall experience from Arabiska and I highly recommend it to anyone.
