2015 Chevrolet Silverado

As you can see the car I got to drive this week is an absolute BEAST and so fun to drive.
The all new 2015 Chevrolet Silverado is a thing of pure beauty, not only does it pack a punch but it is also amazingly comfortable. The sheer size of the vehicle makes you feel like you own any road you join and also makes you feel like you receive some sort of respect from others drivers.

It's definitely the biggest vehicle I have driven and also probably one of the most comfortable. This is only the second Chevrolet that I have driven, the first being a Chevrolet Blazer which I owned in America in 2006, this Silverado has just rejuvenated my love for the brand.

Below is the vehicle in more detail from Chevrolet for all your motor heats out there:

Chevrolet Silverado Light Duty: New for 2015
  • Eight-speed automatic transmission for the 6.2L V-8 (late availability)
  • New exterior color: Deep Ocean Blue Metallic

2015 Silverado Light Duty: Stronger, Smarter and More Capable

  • Updated trailer ratings showcase Silverado’s strength and capability
  • Available 6.2L EcoTec3 V-8 leads segment in horsepower and torque
  • A new eight-speed automatic transmission will be standard on models equipped with the 6.2L EcoTec3 V-8

The 2015 Silverado Light Duty is engineered to be stronger, smarter and more capable than ever before.

It features a trio of new EcoTec3 engines – a V-6 and two V-8s, a quieter and more comfortable cab, a refined interior with connectivityimproved ride and handling and ingenious solutions for managing cargo in the bed.

The 2015 Silverado Light Duty will continue to offer trailer weight ratings up to 5,443 kg as it transitions to new ratings based on US’s SAE J2807 Recommended Practices.

The 2015 Silverado Light Duty pickups are available in seven distinct trim levels, from a Work Truck (WT) to the premium level, High Country.

Interior

Interiors tailored to truck customers
The interiors of the 2015 Silverado LD reflect the same focus on form and function. The upright instrument panel, six-gauge instrument cluster and multiple storage options are tailored specifically to the needs of truck customers. Controls are functional, logically placed and easy to operate with work gloves on. Rear doors on crew cabs are larger, for easier entry and exit, and rear doors on double cab models are now hinged at the front for easier access, especially in tight spots.

For those of you that prefer to drive big cars as perhaps it makes you feel safer on the roads, this is definitely the one for you. There will not be many other vehicles you face that will be sat higher than you, and plus with the amazing space and easiness to drive you will not want to drive another model.

Also, Chevrolet's latest offer, which runs until October 31, gives UAE customers looking to buy a 2015 Silverado the opportunity to get a complimentary trim upgrade- which means extra safety, comfort and entertainment features.
